- Taxonomic Comment
- The New Zealand teleomorph taxon has ITS sequences close to one sequence of N. leiosporus and H. bonii, a marram species. The taxon is perhaps variable in size and color, with one collection with similar sequence on wood similar to H. luteola, and a collection with marram grass in dunes misidentified as H. culmicola. Probably an introduction. [JAC]
