- The holotype does not fit comfortably in any described genus; it is certainly neither a Marasmius nor a Lentinus, but more suggestive of a Resinomycena, fide Desjardin & Horak 1977, p. 140. [JAC] This is very probably Rhodocollybia 'McLeans Island'
