- Early N.Z. material (Colenso b706) does not differ very much from the Australian type, fide Horak 1971b, p. 411; but Massee's record is based on a single fructification in a mixed Colenso collection, fide McNabb 1972, p. 482. Stevenson's collections labelled as Laccaria canaliculata are typical of Laccaria glabripes, fide McNabb 1972, p. 482.
