Dicephalospora seems to be polyphyletic - D. chrysotricha appears to be phylogentically distinct at the generic level From Dicephalospora sensu Zheng & Zhuang 2019. Note that genetic data is not available for the type species of the genus, D. calochroa. [PRJ, March 2017]
