Data from NZOR network will accessed through an NZOR web site, and as web services for automated integration into end user systems. The advisory and technical teams will help define requirements for the system. Organisations wanting to fully utilise NZOR services will sign an agreed MOE to provide a mutual understanding, on for example, service expectations and data use.

In year one an initial test end user is required to validate the utility of the system. Data access services will initially be targeted to meet the needs of this user. These services will then be expanded to meet the needs of all other end users.
NZOR will provide a range of key services to end users covering such tasks as, for example:

1. Matching and spelling validation of locally maintained checklists.
2. Correct taxon name usage according to data providers.
3. Checks on associated information on biostatus according to data providers
4. Access to a higher taxonomic classification according to data providers
